SWITZERLAND, COLLECTION 1881/1996 IN TWO LIGHTHOUSE PRINTED ALBUMS SCHWEIZ / Schweiz, Sammlung 1881/1996 in zwei Leuchtturm-Vordruck-Alben

Partly unused, largely mint collection 1881/1996 housed in two Leuchtturm albums (one lettered “Schweiz”, the other “Helvetia” on spine). Comprises numerous better issues, including the 1924 “Arms” on normal paper and the 1940 chalk-surfaced paper issue; NABA ’34 souvenir sheet in never hinged condition; PAX set ** (10 Fr. little disturbance on gum side).                                                                                                                                                      Further souvenir sheets: Aarau 1938; Zurich and Geneva first day cancelled; Spende   * (stamp from souvenir sheet **); Basel 1945 and Lunaba first day cancelled; Imaba with hinge (sheetlet stamps never hinged); Lausanne 1955 never hinged. Pro Juventute 1941; Pro Patria 1942 used wit clear cancel.

Airmail section with many good values in mint condition (including F1–F2). In addition, attractive definitives and further Pro Juventute and Pro Patria issues; normally cancelled material not evaluated.

Total face value of modern valid postage CHF 670. Some duplication of pages between the two albums; the second album contains a number of duplicated leaves for reasons unknown.

Teils ungebrauchte bzw. postfrische Sammlung 1881/1996 in zwei Leuchtturm-Bänden (einer mit “Schweiz”, der andere mit “Helvetia“ beschriftet”). Enthalten sind zahlreiche bessere Ausgaben, darunter Wappenschilder 1924 und Ausgabe 1940 auf Kreidepapier, Naba-Block postfrisch, Pax-Satz ** (10 Fr.).                                                              Weitere Blocks:  Aarau 1938, Zürich und Genf ET-gestempelt, Spende * (Marke **), Basel 1945 und Lunaba ET-gestempelt, Imaba mit Falz (Block-Marken postfrisch), Lausanne-Block 1955 postfrisch. Pro Juventute 1941; Pro Patria 1942 gestempelt.

Flugpost mit vielen guten Werten postfrisch (u. a. Flupost F1–F2!). Dazu schöne Freimarken und Pro-Juventute-Werte sowie Pro Patria; normal gestempelte nicht bewertet.

Insgesamt für CHF 670 frankaturgültige Marken enthalten moderne Marken ab 1960. Bei den beiden  Alben überschneiden sich einige Blätter,  im zweiten Album sind einige Blätter doppelt vorhanden. Keine Ahnung warum.
